The first classes at Palm Beach Atlantic University, formerly Palm Beach Atlantic College named for its location in the Palm Beaches, were held in the fall of 1968 in downtown West Palm Beach at 1101 South Olive Avenue in the former facilities of the First Baptist Church.
PBA is committed to loving and respecting all people, as well as celebrating the divine tapestry of our diverse ethnic, racial, cultural, socio‐economic, and national backgrounds, because Christ‐exalting diversity celebrates the fact that we are all fearfully and wonderfully made in His image (Psalm 139:14; Acts 17:26).
The University's leadership and president's office is composed of strong, compassionate and visionary leaders of integrity in policy and planning, strategic communications and marketing, and administrative and financial operations who advance PBA’s motto of enlightening minds, enriching souls and extending hands.
Our location in South Florida will offer you the best of both worlds—campus facilities and resources in West Palm Beach and Orlando that are second to none, and a vibrant range of off-campus opportunities afforded by one of the most dynamic and rapidly-growing destinations in the country.
“Palm Beach Atlantic instilled values in me—integrity, honesty, spirituality, optimism, positive work ethic, and more—all of which I continue to live out in my place of work. I was prepared beyond words for real-life public relations. The academic rigor of the courses equipped me to be able to handle most anything that is thrown at me in the world of work.”- Katrina Dawe ‘16, Public Relations |
